The customer was looking for a high-speed acquisition and processing system with the AMD Zynq MPSoC ZU19EG and integrated with RF ADCs, with supporting components for clock management, power regulation, and peripheral connectivity.
Custom Carrier Board Design:
Designed around ZU19/ZU17/ZU11 Zynq UltraScale+ MPSoC with high-speed transceivers, rich DSP slices, and flexible I/O interfaces within 16 Weeks.
Integration of RF:
ADCs Five ADC12QJ1600 RF ADCs were integrated on the carrier card. Each RF ADC provides 4 channels of ADC input, resulting in a total of 20 ADC channels. These channels are connected are interfaced to the MPSoC using GTH (links.
RF-Performance:
Noise floor measurement for all 20 RF ADC channels using an ADC capture application from Peta-Linux running on the ZU19EG SOM and plotting results on a Host PC ad Eye Diagram capture of all the transceivers supported on the custom board using the iBERT tool.
EMC Pre-Compliance:
Radiated Emission Pre-compliance test as per ‘EN 55032:2015’ for a frequency range of 30MHz – 1GHz.
Radiated Immunity Pre-compliance test as per ‘EN-61000-4-3’ for a frequency range of 80MHz – 1GHz
