The Zynq™ UltraScale+™ MPSoC ZU7EV platform delivers advanced high-performance solutions for 5G radios, satellite communications, and ultra-low-latency edge deployments. iWave’s ZU7EV SOM integrates up to 500K logic cells alongside 16 high-speed transceivers operating at 16.3Gbps, supporting demanding real-time data processing and external/internal clock synchronization for precision timing.

A leading networking organization specializing in 5G radios and satellite communications an integrated FPGA platform that would enable ultra-low latency, high reliability, and faster product deployment while minimizing development time and effort.

Challenges & Requirements

The solution needed to ensure reliable and ultra-low latency communication, with external and internal clock synchronization. Additionally, support for GPS functionality and watchdog timers was essential to meet the demanding operational requirements of their applications.
