A leading research institute working in particle physics required a custom data acquisition platform capable of handling extremely high-speed ADC input data and processing it efficiently for analysis. The system needed to support real-time capture, filtering, and remote access to stored data for advanced research applications.

Challenges & Requirements

The project required a high-speed data acquisition system integrating a quad-channel 1GSPS 14-bit ADC, supporting JESD204B at 10Gbps, implementing filtering algorithms, storing large data in SATA, and enabling reliable remote Ethernet access.
