Nuremberg, Germany – March 10, 2026 – iWave, a leading provide of System on Modules and Embedded Computing solutions, announced the launch of the iG-Rainbow-G85M, its NXP® Semiconductors i.MX 94-based OSM System-on-Module (SoM), a powerful and Compact building block designed for next-generation automotive and industrial edge applications

The iG-Rainbow-G85M is built on NXP’s i.MX 94 applications processor, which introduces breakthrough capabilities for edge innovation. The i.MX 94 family is NXP’s first i.MX applications processor to integrate a Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) switch, along with post-quantum cryptography (PQC), and a multicore architecture that delivers high-performance, low-latency processing across application and real-time domains. A dedicated functional safety island, combined with EdgeLock® Secure Enclave (Advanced Profile), enables fast secure boot, real-time signing, authentication, and encryption—making it well-suited for safety-critical and security-sensitive deployments

Designed in compliance with the OSM Size-L standard, the iWave iG-Rainbow-G85M delivers exceptional size optimization, reliability, and integration flexibility for rugged automotive and industrial edge systems.
