iWave Launches Versal™ AI Core System on Module for High-Performance AI and Adaptive Computing Applications

New iG-G83M® SoM, built on the AMD Versal™ AI Core Series adaptive SoC architecture, delivers a compact, production-ready platform for AI inference, signal processing, and data-intensive embedded applications

iWave, a leading provider of FPGA System on Modules, announced the launch of the iG-G83M® Versal™ AI Core System on Module (SoM), a compact and high-performance platform designed to accelerate artificial intelligence, signal processing, and data-intensive embedded applications.

Built around the AMD Versal™ AI Core Series adaptive SoC architecture, the iG-G83M SoM supports devices including VC1502, VC1702, VC1802, and VC1902. The SoM is built as a produion ready building block for solutions that require extensive AI and workload acceleration. With support for up to 1,968K logic cells and 899.84K LUTs, the module provides exceptional compute density for implementing advanced AI inference engines, high-speed digital signal processing pipelines, and complex hardware acceleration tasks.

With its compact 82 mm × 110 mm form factor, the iG-G83M SoM enables system developers to integrate powerful adaptive computing capabilities into space constrained designs while reducing hardware development complexity.

Target Applications

The iG-G83M Versal™ AI Core SOM is designed to support a wide range of compute-intensive applications, including 5G Radio and Beamforming, Data Center Compute, Video Processing for Smart Cities, Medical Image Processing, Radar Processing, and Wireless Test Equipment.
