Telematics EdgePrime (G76P) is an IP67-rated, Embedded Linux-based telematics platform engineered for rugged and off-highway applications. It provides an open software environment with comprehensive APIs and SDKs, enabling OEMs and solution providers to develop, customize, and deploy their own edge applications with ease.

Powered by a dual-core Arm Cortex A55 processor, the platform features four CAN-FD interfaces, rich I/O connectivity, onboard RTC, Automotive Ethernet, advanced power management, and robust security capabilities. Yes. In the standard configuration, the Telematics EdgePrime provides 100 Mbps Standard Ethernet (100BASE-TX) and 100 Mbps Automotive Ethernet (100BASE-T1). Optionally, both interfaces can be upgraded to 1 Gbps.

Yes. Telematics EdgePrime(G76P) supports Standby Mode (~10 mA) offering wake source including ignition, CAN, RTC, Timer, and Accelerometer and Deep Power Down Mode (~1.1 mA) with configurable wakeup sources including Ignition, RTC,and Accelerometer, making it ideal for battery-powered and always-connected telematics applications.

The Telematics EdgePrime(G76P) runs on an Embedded Linux platform based on Yocto. Customers receive a complete Board Support Package (BSP), including the Yocto source, Linux kernel source, and base BSP implementation.

To simplify application development, iWave provides software libraries with APIs for accessing the available hardware peripherals, along with comprehensive API documentation and user manuals.
Customers have full access to the source code and are free to customize or modify the Linux kernel and BSP to meet their application requirements.

Telematics EdgePrime(G76P) is powered by i.MX93 processor which has integrated security module EdgeLock Secure Enclave, in addition to this device also incorporates a Microchip TA100 Hardware Secure Element to provide hardware-based security, including secure key storage, encryption, authentication, and cryptographic operations.

In addition, the platform supports security features such as Secure Boot, Secure Storage, Secure CAN communication, and other cybersecurity capabilities that can be implemented based on customer-specific requirements.

Customers receive dedicated technical support from iWave’s engineering team.  Online meeting is arranged to get started with the evaluation kit.  During customer evaluation / application integration,  technical queries are answered through email.

Periodic / weekly technical calls are arranged, enabling for faster completion of PoC / field trial and to start production.

iWave provides comprehensive production support services to help streamline manufacturing and deployment of the Telematics EdgePrime(G76P). These services include:

  • SIM card installation during production. Customer has to supply the SIM and iWave will install it during production.
  • eSIM support (Either microSIM or eSIM option is supported).
